Moliets Surfcamp

The camp is literally only a minute's walk from the beach, right in the middle of the dunes, and forms part of the luxury 4* Saint Martin camping site. At the camp you will find all the tents, of course, but also a large bar, a volleyball court, dining tent, equipment tent, the kitchen and lots of chill corners. The camp is also only two minute's walk from the centre of Moliets village.

We organise a fun (voluntary) programme every evening with lots of free drinks. Our cocktail evenings have achieved legendary status and our Movie Night on the Beach is a totally relaxed night out. We also organise trips two times a week from Moliets to San Sebastian in Spain (aka the Barcelona of the Atlantic Coast) and Hossegor (the surfing capital of Europe). These trips are all about having fun and the search for good deals on drinks.

Don't feel like cooking? No problem, because you can also choose to book half-board accommodation. That means that during the surfing holiday you'll have fresh bread every morning with a selection of jams and spreads and also cornflakes, tea, coffee etc. What's more, you'll have a delicious dinner cooked for you every evening. We also do pizza on one of the evenings and go out for dinner once a week.

Surflessons (€79)

Surfing is great fun, but even more so when you know what you're doing! That's why we offer you the opportunity of taking lessons from our own qualified surfmonis. They've all had intensive training and can teach you how to surf in a safe and responsible manner. They will also teach you all about the ocean, the beach, the equipment and the art of surfing during the five-day training programme. The first three days include lessons lasting one-and-a-half hours and on the fifth day we hold a surfing contest with a chance to win lots of goodies!

The lessons will be given in small groups of a maximum of 8 people. We only use soft-tops (soft surfboards) for the lessons. Our instructors are qualified Beach Lifeguards with Surf Instructor 1 certification. The training they have undergone is recognised worldwide, meaning we can guarantee your safety at all times.

Food (€89)

When you're on holidays all you really want to do is have fun and chill out. Doing the shopping and cooking are time-consuming and often very expensive. That's why we offer an excellent half-board package. From the day you arrive to your departure, every morning you will be provided with breakfast and every evening with dinner. Breakfast includes French bread, a croissant, jams and spreads, cornflakes, fruit juices, and coffee and tea. Dinner includes a freshly prepared meal and dessert. We also do pizza on one of the evenings and go out for dinner once a week.

Are you following a diet, allergic to certain foodstuffs or a vegetarian? No problem, just inform us when making your booking and our chef will look after the rest!

EQUIPMENT (free to use)

Unlike the majority of other camps, we do not charge you anything extra for the use of boards and other equipment. There's enough for everybody in the equipment tent, so you don't have to worry about being left out! Still want to bring your own board? No problem; you can bring it free of charge on the bus! (max 3m!)

Surfboards

Our equipment tent has a plentiful supply of surfboards, both BIC and NSP. We have chosen for a variety of short and longboards, so everybody can surf using their favourite board. NB: unlike other camps we don not charge for the use of the boards! Got your own board? No problem; you can bring it free of charge on the bus!

Body boards

We also have lots of bodyboards available for those who prefer to lie rather than stand. And we also have flippers, also free of charge!

Wetsuits

In order to avoid your having to quit because the water is too cold, we also have a large supply of wetsuits in the camp that you can use free of charge. The wetsuits are made of neoprene and offer ultimate protection against cold and rash.

Skim boards

Had enough of the surfing and bodyboarding? Want to try something different? Grab a skimboard and try it out on the shore break!

Skateboards

All of our camps have a mini-ramp and there is a skatepark nearby. The undulating roads and squares are also terrific streetspots. Bring your own deck and try out the skating!

Beach sports

We also have everything you might need to enjoy yourself on the beach. Including a beach volleyball court in Moliets complete with seating! You'll also find lots of volleyball, football, etc. going on at other camps in the rare event that you find yourself getting bored!

After surf

During the day you can surf, chill out on the beach, relax back at the camp or go and check out the village. In the evening we have an "after surf programme" at no extra charge. Lots of amusement and free drinks!

We also organise a lot of extra activities during the week. We would also appreciate any suggestions you might have yourself. And and of course we are open to your suggestions. We are always ready to help you in any way we can. Our staff know the region extremely well and can give you tips on where to go paintballing, cycling, quad-driving, rafting, etc. You will have to pay for these activities yourself, however.

Surfari (€239)

We recently launched our Surfari at the Moliets beachcamp especially for the enthusiastic and fanatical surfers among you! Each week you will be treated to morning sessions, spot search, sunset sessions and road trips together with the Surfblend crew.

Each day we will check to see where the best waves are breaking and head off in our minivans to do some spot searching. This means that we can go surfing anywhere at any time and the programme will be adjusted each week according to predicted surfing conditions.

Half-board accommodation is included as standard in the Surfari package!

Citytrips

San Sebastian

San Sebastian is a city in the north of Spain that is often referred to as the Barcelona of the Atlantic Coast. This beautiful city is teeming with great shops and fantastic tapas bars, and in the evening we will introduce you to its high-spirited nightlife. We will finish the night off at a club on the beach. We will also help you find the best prices in town.

Hossegor

Hossegor is widely recognised as the surfing capital of Europe. It has no shortage of high street shops and genuine surf bars. Two of the reasons why we visit this city a few times a week. Time to let your hair down in the bars with the help of a few drinks that are served at discount prices!

Citytrips are not included in the costs of the package. The cost of a city trip depends on the numbers going and the destination, and is generally decided upon on the spot.

Moliets

In the last few years, Moliets has grown to become one of the most popular surfing destinations in Europe, and not without good cause! It has a never-ending, beautiful beach and there is plenty to do at night in this small but bustling village. There are lots of restaurants, regular markets in the evenings and several bars, of which l'Open is the most popular partly because of its regular live music and DJs. l'Open also happens to be our ‘local' and drinks there are cheaper than normal when you are a Surfandbeachcamper!

The beach breaks in Moliets are simply world-class. Thanks to the river that flows into the sea here, there are always sandbanks that help form absolutely perfect waves. There are a lot of different peak times too, which means that the 'crowds' are spread out evenly and everybody gets a chance to surf when and where they want to.
