Moliets

In the last few years, Moliets has grown to become one of the most popular surfing destinations in Europe, and not without good cause! It has a never-ending, beautiful beach and there is plenty to do at night in this small but bustling village. There are lots of restaurants, regular markets in the evenings and several bars, of which l'Open is the most popular partly because of its regular live music and DJs. l'Open also happens to be our ‘local' and drinks there are cheaper than normal when you are a Surfandbeachcamper!

The beach breaks in Moliets are simply world-class. Thanks to the river that flows into the sea here, there are always sandbanks that help form absolutely perfect waves. There are a lot of different peak times too, which means that the 'crowds' are spread out evenly and everybody gets a chance to surf when and where they want to.
